Ms Flow – Subscription Box Review

Ms Flow is a Premium ladies subscription box delivered directly to your door ‘on time’ every month. The box includes an array of items that will help us girls have a happy period.

Periods can really get us down and make us feel groggy and very under the weather, not to mention the breakout of spots, oily skin, mood swings and cramping. Thats where this box comes to the rescue.

What is Ms Flow?

Ms Flow is a personalised service and you can personalise your box to suit your requirements. To begin with, simply visit and click on the ‘Get Started’ tab. Here you will be able to select your flow type.

Options available are:

Regular flow – Giving you enough essentials for 3-5 days

Light flow – Giving you enough essentials for 2-3 days

Heavy flow – Giving you enough essentials for 5-7 days

Once you have selected your period type you will then be given a few options on what date of the month you would like to receive your box. Currently, the options are 1st/7th/14th/21st/28th of the month.

The box not only contains the essential items needed to help you through your period including your choice of towels or tampons but it also contains several luxury items to help lift your mood too

Finally, you will then be given the option on what type of essentials you would like. This ranges from Tampons only plus liners, Sanitary towels only plus liners or a mixture of tampons, towels and liners. Ms Flow does truly like to make their box as personalised as possible for you as you are also asked if there is a preference to your brand of essentials – including organic, as well as your absorbency preference.

You can choose to renew your subscription on a monthly basis or every 3 months. You can unsubscribe at any time so you are not tied into any minimum subscription term which I think is really good.

For a monthly subscription, the cost is £14.99 per month + £2.95 P&P it is a little cheaper if you commit to the 3-month subscription which is a total cost of £40.47 + £2.95 P&P.

On the order summary page, you will see an overview of the options you have selected and can make changes before you commit. Once you are happy – as an added bonus, use discount code SPECIAL30 and get 30% off your first order – Your then good to go.

What’s inside the box?

Ms Flow was very kind enough to gift me my first box for me to write this review for you guys. I have not been paid in any way to write this review and all thoughts and comments are my own.

I received the box promptly and it was discreetly packaged upon opening the outer mailing packaging I was presented with a nicely designed box that held my items. It clearly stated that it was my Ms Flow box and I quite liked the element of surprise.

I opened the lid it inside was very well presented with colour themed tissue paper and packaging. I had to unwrap the contents inside so I had no idea what my luxury items were. After I had opened it all fully I was very pleasantly surprised by the number of items in the box – it was pretty jam-packed.

The first thing I noticed were two yellow sealed candy type bags. I opened them to find my essential items. I had a mixture of tampons, sanitary towels and liners from a mixture of different brands. I thought this was ideal as It allowed me the opportunity to test out different brands without having to purchase full boxes of the items.

Now came the exciting bit….my luxury items.

The first thing that stood out to me was a beautiful small candle. This was branded with a Ms Flow sticker and the fragrance was Lime Basil & Mandarin and it smelt divine. I have not yet lit this but I thought this was a unique, thoughtful touch – useful for those relaxing baths to help ease the cramping!

The next thing I reached for was a large 250ml tube of Anatomicals ‘Shower to the people’ every man/woman body cleanser.

You can see by the photo’s I took that all the items seem to match in colour which again I thought was another nice touch by Ms Flow. You can see that a lot of effort has gone into planning and putting these boxes together.

I delved in again and pulled out a Gnaw Peanut butter chocolate and a sachet of peanut butter flavoured hot drink. I personally am not a fan of peanut butter and I don’t think I will attempt the hot drink but chocolate is chocolate, right?

I then pulled out a 30ml tube of Time Bomb – Cleanse and Buff which is a daily mini-facial for clear polished looking skin and to further the pampering I also had a packet of gold Crystal collagen powder eye masks. I’ve not yet used these but I am really looking forward to a night of pampering with all the products I have pulled out so far.

What I thought was the final item was an organic Green tea with Manuka tea bag. Again, I am not a fan of flavoured tea’s but it is something that I would really really like to get into. I was quite surprised when I read that the tea contained Manuka as I have been recently researching the health benefits of Manuka Honey. I will most definitely give this a try and hopefully, I will like it. I would like to try and cleanse and detox my body, both Green Tea & Manuka are ideal for this.

I thought that was it until I lifted the box and out rolled a Loreal colour rich eye pencil. This also works wonders for the brows may I add.

My overall thoughts about this box are all good. I was very impressed with the number of items presented in the box and I feel they were very generous and most definitely worth the money. Would I carry on with the subscription? Yes, 100%.  They have been put together so well and the products inside are very relevant.

You may receive items in your box that you perhaps would not have considered buying in the shops but this is a great opportunity to try new things.

I think this box is ideal for people of all ages, however, wouldn’t this just be the perfect gift for a young teenager who has perhaps just started to get her periods. This would be a great way for her to decide what her preference would be in terms of tampons or pads as she would be able to try each one. Also, I am sure that the luxury items would help ease the anxiety of those first periods.

Go grab your box and don’t forget to use the discount code ‘SPECIAL30’ to get 30% off – Just to make you aware, I do not receive any kind of credit for any sign ups I refer. I Genuinely think this box is amazing!
